Challenge: Our business is growing fast! Where do I even start?
Coach Response: I would start with your own job description. Because you are still working in the business, you want to get very clear on what your role is now and what you want it to be. You can’t continue to work in the business because you’ll create bottle necks and slow progress down. That’s where we then look at the gaps that need to be filled by other people. If you have someone who works closely with you overseeing the operations you can have them do the same thing or do it together.
The good thing is that you can make a job whatever you want. Don’t worry about what you will call it. Do the work to figure out what it is. The job description template will help give you a lot of clarity.
