I’ve learned so much by participating in the How to CEO program. My biggest accomplishment was writing my dream CEO job description. Allowing myself to daydream has lead to clarity and a new sense of confidence. During office hours I received the support I needed to write my vision statement and core values. Also, the thought provoking questions in the CEO Team Blueprint challenge my limiting beliefs and expand my vision of what’s possible for me and my team. I’m so excited to continue in the lab; I’m confident I’ll receive the support and feedback I need to take daily action. The greatest benefit will be the coaching, guidance, and thought leadership to help me manage my mind in the messy middle and realize my vision!
The biggest lesson I’ve learned from How To CEO is how to successfully create team roles that are responsible for results for the company. Prior to joining I was delegating work to anyone who was capable and had the capacity. Essentially, I was operating as the owner/entrepreneur, instead of as a CEO. Now, each team role has responsibilities and expectations, making managing my team so much easier. I also have a talent development plan for the next year and beyond. For the first time, I genuinely feel like I have control of my business and a clear path to follow for the team. I’m so grateful for How To CEO!
I hired Kris because, while I was comfortable as a leader…I knew that I was missing something in the ‘management’ department and that if I didn’t learn how to manage people better, it would impact my business. Not only did Kris help me become a stronger manager and CEO, her brilliant coaching helped me step even more into my power as a leader. I have tremendous gratitude for her work, and highly recommend her to my friends who are running multiple 6, 7, and 8 figure businesses.
The Voiceless Problem
You think managing people should come naturally to you as a woman.
But then someone quits.
Another deadline is missed.
You are unsupported despite having a full team.
And you feel a deep sense of shame.
You think there must be something wrong with you.
So many female entrepreneurs experience the exact same
obstacles and challenges when it comes to
leading our businesses and leading our teams.
Yet, we rarely talk about them.
We feel alone.
It’s time to flip the script.
Digital classes on each module,
lead by Kris Plachy, along with your copy
of the CEO Blueprint™, which provides you
with the formulas that make leading
and managing simple.
Supplemental, live coaching calls that aid in
your learning and help you work
through impromptu challenges and triage moments.
A community of your fellow women
entrepreneur CEOs, who are navigating the
same challenges you are and who
understand what it’s like to run a business
without any formal management training.
I have made it my mission to prove the power of one thriving woman and give a voice to the voiceless problem that most female entrepreneurs face.
I believe that you are a powerful and effective leader because of all of the things that are intrinsic to you as a woman, and not in spite of them.
I want to change the dialogue surrounding women in leadership so that more and more women are confident and have the resources to reach the CEO milestone in their business.

I have had so many breakthrough moments since starting How to CEO. It’s been mind-blowing. So much in my world is shifting, turning towards magic. I’m attracting all sorts of people, opportunities, ideas. All of these ideal employees are showing up (out of nowhere). My existing employees are happier (with all the structural changes and clarity). And everything else is my life is having a trickling effect…my kids, my husband. I have gotten my money’s worth from How to CEO in the first week (plus many times over). So deeply Thankful for you. You are definitely Proving the Power of One Thriving Woman with me.
How to CEO has been a complete game-changer for me as a leader and CEO. Before starting the program, I was struggling and feeling overwhelmed. I had many ideas about quitting. As I moved through the program, I learned impactful strategies which taught me how to effectively lead my team and business. Personally, Kris’s program and coaching have given me the gifts of enjoying my life, my business, and my growth and development. The relationships I’ve formed within the community of CEOs Kris coaches have supported me and helped me to thrive.
I’m just now watching Brooke’s talk with Kris and the amount of valuable information in there is worth the cost of the course alone. There were several ah-hah’s in there for me on a variety of subjects and the discussion on the topic of hiring could not have been better or come at a more perfect time for me. So good.
I’m so grateful to have this course. It’s truly like a god-send to have this resource at the exact time I am redefining what my business will look like and my role in it.
Thank you all for putting this out in the world.

CEO Mindset
How to be the leader of the team, not a player in the team. Becoming the CEO is less about the title and more about WHO we are becoming. In this introductory module, we’ll tackle the common beliefs that keep women from truly stepping into the CEO role with confidence. We’ll address imposter syndrome, entrepreneurial guilt, leadership overwhelm, and several other emotional traps that perpetuate women not fully owning their CEO-ness and their CEO-greatness.
Leadership and Team Operating System
Like any other organism, the business has to have an operating system to function. Up until now, you’ve likely had ‘good’ systems that work, but they may not be scalable. We need to get to a business that has an intentional design of the vision, values, expectations and goals that create the culture you want, on purpose.
The Hiring Process
The team dictates your success. Period. The design and effort you put into it will translate into the results you achieve through others. In this module, we will learn how to identify roles needed, write the descriptions, hiring best practices and onboarding.
The Accountability Process
People want to win. In order to win, they need finish lines and goals. As the leader, you create the process by which team members celebrate or need to course correct. Learn how to hold team members accountable to roles, goals and behaviors through regular performance recognition and review. Accountability is an essential part of a high performing team. And it can be achieved with grace and transparency.
The Firing Process
Firing is never easy. But it’s especially difficult if you don’t have a firing process in place. In this module, I will teach you how to know when it’s the right time to fire, what measures you need to have in place, and how to pull the plug when it’s necessary.
Delegating
Ahhh. The most frustrating of all skills to master. Or so our clients tell us! Together we will focus on and learn the best practices for how to communicate desired results. Teach employees how to read your mind, and achieve results. And the difference between delegation, mis-delegating, and abdication.
Managing Difficult
Difficult people. Difficult moments. Difficult clients. Dealing with difficult is a process and a leadership superpower that all CEOs must master. We will teach you how to handle anything that comes your way that you (initially) experience as difficult.

Before [How to CEO,] when I came up with an idea on ways to move Egoscue of Philadelphia forward, I would work at learning all about it and spending the time preparing, learning, and becoming an “expert” in whatever it was.
[Now,] I have learned that I need to become the expert in running my business – things like what skills and tasks are needed to achieve the results I am looking for and how I can support my employees to do them. I don’t need to become an expert in things like marketing or bookkeeping. I can find people who are experts in those areas and have them work their magic to help get us to our desired results.

If I had to name one thing [that I took away from How to CEO], it would be how to appreciate the results of my labor and, with it, my team members. I always did appreciate my team members, but working with Kris just brought it to another level. I’m grateful for that.
